What Doctors Eat (Staff Edition)

It’s not just your doctor that’s eating pretty terrible food.  The staff that supports the doctor’s office and hospital eats pretty poorly.  While the drug company lunch is almost history in the U.S. other businesses bring lunch regularly including nur

sing homes, home health companies and the like.  This is a sampling of the sort of thing that they bring.

I suppose that they are looking for long term business.  :-)

Personally, I think the only way around it is to have physicians' office managers inform these "providers" that yours is a "no junk food" zone.

If they want to bring a food gift when they come to solicit a doctor's business, they can buy a fresh fruit platter or a veggie platter (or both!) at the same supermarket where they are using the bakery for these "treats"!

And, I'm surprised the drug companies have 'stopped' the wooing --- or is it only that they are not bringing food gifts anymore? From what I've read and seen, it seems they are still at it, just in other venues. What's the deal?
